Foods Unique to Japan Used in Our Cooking

Just for fun. . . . the foods I cook with for Baby Girl that are unique to the beautiful country we live in. Some of them-- carrots for example-- you can obviously get in many parts of the world, but I post these on here because they are often so different in size or shape or in some other quality.

(this box contains "kuzuko," which is a form of Japanese Arrowroot starch I was told)

Carrots from the Zushi farm market

Red asian pears from the local grocery store, next to a mug (to compare the size)
